PAYMENT IS REQUIRED BEFORE THE RIDE
The full fare in your written quote is payable in advance. Unless the written quote gives another deadline, payment is due when you book. For surgical transportation, the full fare must be received at least 72 hours before pickup. A ride is not confirmed until required payment has been received and the reservation is confirmed. A request or payment link alone does not confirm a ride.
NO PAYMENT, NO DRIVE. The driver will not begin the trip or transport a passenger until the fare and agreed charges due before departure have been paid. If any required amount is unpaid, transportation will not begin. Cash is not accepted for fares or fees for Over55Ride/Pathfinder-arranged network bookings; cash may be given only as an optional tip. Any separate trip-expense deposit or balance must be stated in the written quote. The standard deposit for estimated approved trip expenses is 80%; after the trip, approved expenses are itemized and the unused deposit is refunded or credited, with any properly due balance invoiced. No undisclosed charge will be added without your agreement.
WHO COLLECTS PAYMENT
Your written quote or booking confirmation identifies whether Pathfinder Private Rides LLC (operating as Over55Ride) or the independent driver collects the fare. For a Pathfinder-coordinated booking, pay through the payment method shown on the confirmation; do not pay a driver separately unless the quote expressly says to. For a driver's own advertising listing or a direct booking, the independent driver handles the booking and collects payment directly. Confirm the amount, payment method, pickup details, and driver's terms before paying.
IF AN INDEPENDENT DRIVER DOES NOT SHOW
If a driver has not arrived at the confirmed pickup time, contact Over55Ride/Pathfinder immediately at 520-239-9442. Give us the passenger name, pickup address, scheduled time, driver name, and booking confirmation or receipt. Keep your payment records and messages. We will promptly review the report and contact the driver.
If Pathfinder collected payment and the confirmed driver fails to provide the ride, you are not treated as a passenger no-show. If you do not agree to a replacement ride, Pathfinder will refund the amount it collected for transportation not provided, including prepaid trip expenses for services not provided, subject only to lawful, disclosed charges for expenses actually incurred with your agreement. The refund will be initiated to the original payment method; your bank or payment provider controls when it posts. If the driver has already received some or all of the fare, that does not cancel the refund process or require you to collect money from the driver. Pathfinder may seek repayment from the driver under the separate driver program terms.
If the independent driver collected the fare directly, contact that driver promptly using the booking confirmation and request a refund for the ride not provided. Over55Ride/Pathfinder did not receive or hold that payment and cannot return funds it did not collect. You may also report the incident to us at 520-239-9442. This does not waive rights under applicable law or through your bank or payment provider.
A passenger no-show means the passenger is not present at the confirmed pickup after the driver has arrived and made a reasonable effort to contact them. The no-show charge does not apply when the driver is the one who fails to arrive.
INDEPENDENT DRIVER TERMS
Each independent driver may have additional terms for their own service, including service area, rates, availability, waiting or standby, payment, cancellations, and changes. The driver must provide ride-specific terms before you confirm or pay. By accepting a driver's quote or booking, you agree to those disclosed driver terms and the Over55Ride/Pathfinder terms that apply to our part of the arrangement. Driver terms may supplement these terms and govern the driver's service, but do not change amounts collected by Pathfinder. If Pathfinder collected your payment, the refund policy above applies to amounts Pathfinder collected for transportation the driver did not provide. Trip-specific terms must be disclosed and accepted before booking and cannot waive rights that applicable law protects. Ask your selected driver to clarify any term before booking.
SERVICE DISRUPTIONS, WEATHER & ROAD EMERGENCIES
Severe weather or a natural disaster, wildfire, flooding, a traffic collision, road closure, emergency order, unsafe road conditions, or an unexpected vehicle problem such as a flat tire or breakdown may delay, reroute, or prevent a driver from reaching the pickup or completing a trip. Safety comes first. The service provider will notify you as soon as reasonably practical after learning of a disruption and make reasonable efforts to arrange a safe alternative or revised pickup, subject to availability. If Pathfinder cancels or transportation paid to Pathfinder is not provided, Pathfinder will refund amounts it collected for the unprovided transportation under the refund terms above. Any deduction must be for a disclosed expense actually incurred with your agreement and allowed by law. For a direct booking paid to an independent driver, contact that driver about a refund for service not provided and notify Over55Ride/Pathfinder at 520-239-9442. This section does not excuse a failure to use reasonable care or waive any right that cannot legally be waived.
